Ystrad beat Italy under 20's
Man of the match and first cap
What a weekend for Wales under 20’s with a much needed win in North Wales against Italy.
It was also a great result for Ystradgynlais RFC with two former junior and youth player Dan Baker scoring the winning try and picking up the man of the match award.
There was also a very jubilant moment for us all when Owen Williams came off the bench to win his first cap.
It was tremendous to see two former players who have come through our clubs development system doing it at an international level. Don’t bet against these two talented stars making more and more headlines in the future.
Ystradgynlais Rugby club would like to make both players aware of how proud we are of their achievements.
