Elliot Evans of Alloa Rugby Club’s mini rugby section had the honour of being chosen as one of Scotland’s mascots for the International match against Italy last Saturday.
12 year old Elliot who attends Clackmannan Primary School lined up with the Scotland team and belted out the National Anthem before joining his team-mates to support a record breaking win for the National Team.
Afterwards there were opportunities to meet members of the National Squad and autographs aplenty to complete a memorable day.
Elliot travelled to Murrayfield with the junior squad, friends and family courtesy of transport provided by the Alloa Club.
ARFC Mini's Co-Ordinator, Scott Harrison commented “The club were delighted to see the youngsters have such a fantastic day out at The National Stadium and would like to thank the Scottish Rugby Union for giving us the opportunity to make it that extra bit special for one lucky lad”.
