Potter brings in Tonks as Assistant

The club can officially announce Rob Tonks has agreed to be Luke Potters assistant at the club. Rob attended last nights game and now we would like to officially welcome him to the Rec.

On asking Rob to tell us about himself he had the following to say.

"I joined Emley from school and made my debut in 1995, Stayed at the club for around 12 years before signing for Ossett Town.

I signed for Stocksbridge Park Steel in Oct 2009 and made Vardy the player he is today haha...
At the end of season I joined Bradford Park Avenue.

In 2010 I signed for Wakefield FC, they then folded and I re-signed at Ossett Town.

I then moved to Ossett Albion before my first retirement due to a back injury.

I came back into football again with Hemsworth MW and played 3 seasons before finally retiring from playing at end of last season.

I went to Ossett Albion at the start of season as part of the management team with Luke.

I am Currently Manager of England Fire Service and Assistant Manager of UK Fire Service football teams.

I am really excited to be back in football again, when Luke asked me I jumped at the chance. Always been a club I’ve admired and enjoyed playing against as they have always been well supported."

Welcome aboard Rob
