Win Over Tower Hamlets

By Adam Dennehey

Barkingside earned their second consecutive league win after defeating midtable Tower Hamlets 3-1 at Cricklefields last night.

Hamlets went ahead only for 'Side to go into half-time 2-1 up thanks to a brace from Roddy Lemba.

Michael Ogboin clinched the game, by adding a third for Michael Walther's men with two minutes remaining.

During the build-up to the goal, a Hamlets defender, Alhousman Ndure, went down with a nasty facial injury, leaving the game ending on a sad note. Everyone at the club wishes him a quick and swift recovery.

'Side are next in action when they host Sporting Bengal United at Cricklefields on Monday 16th April. Kick-off for that match is at 7:45pm.
