Chesterfield adds to coaching line-up

“Richy's qualities both as a coach and as a person ensure that he is a great fit for our club.” Gavin Chesterfield

As preparations continue for the club's Welsh Premier League return, Barry Town United manager Gavin Chesterfield has significantly strengthened his coaching staff with the appointment of Richard Williams as First Team Coach.

Williams brings a wealth of experience to the club from both his playing days and coaching background and is currently working towards his UEFA PRO License.

Commenting on the appointment, Chesterfield commented: "I'm delighted to bring Richy to the club. He's someone I've worked closely with in recent years and he brings real quality and much experience.

"Ahead of next season, it's an area that I feel we needed to strengthen, but it needed to be the right person. Richy's qualities both as a coach and as a person ensure that he is a great fit for our club".
