Junior Section
With the end of season presentations begining this evening everybody at the Club wishes to congratulate our Junior section on another fantastic season.
The players at all age groups have performed admirably and are a credit to themselves and their families. We hope they all enjoy their presentation evening and we look forward to watching them again next season after the short summer break.
A huge thank you from the Club goes out to the large group of volunteers who have given up many hours of their free time to coach, referee, first aid, or do anything to support the many age groups on Sundays and through out the week. It is appreciated by us all at the Club.
The Junior section is classed as one of the best of its kind in the local area and a lot of credit for this has to go to Jason and Maria Powell. The amount of hours they have put in for this club is unbelievable. A lot of their tireless work goes unseen and we as a Club certainly owe them a huge deal.
The children have played the game in the correct spirit during the season. Playing with a smile on their face whilst enjoying our great sport. Victories have been great, but the participating at this level is the most important and this has been learnt to them by our fantastic coaches.
Again this season our Club has strived to ensure that parents / speactators applaud both sets of teams and we continue to not tolerate any abuse to any person and in particular match officials, without whom we remember there would be no game.We thank everybody for following our expectations.
We as a Club have created a friendly environment for children of our Community to enjoy the sport and long may it continue.
Again, we hope everybody enjoys their Presentation evenings and we look forward to seeing you all again very, very soon.
