Bedford Town FC is pleased to announce that James Peters has rejoined the club.
Last season's Supporters Player of the Season at Bedford, he started pre-season training for this year but was lured to St. Neots Town, and played 11 games, including the City Security Services League Cup win over the Eagles earlier in the season.
James indicated that he never really settled at St. Neots, and felt destined to return to the Eyrie, where, since 2015, has made 137 appearances and scored 10 goals.
Jon Taylor said, "James will be able to give us extra bite in midfield, but he can also play central defence, and his fitness and awareness on the pitch is not only well known to me, but to the Bedford faithful, and he is capable of adding an extra dimension on the pitch."
James will be available for the Corby Town match on Tuesday evening.
