A solitary Josh Parsons goal was enough to give the Wiltshire side the three points on a really frustrating day for The Robins.
In a game of few chances, Swindon Supermarine were in control in the opening half an hour and scored with the first real chance of the game on 24 minutes. Connor Thompson chipped the ball back across the six yard box for Parsons to nod home from close range. Prior to that Brad Hooper shot over and Parsons pulled a shot well wide. Bideford began to wake up a bit after the goal but chances were at a premium. Tucker saw a shot saved by Josh Hill after cutting in from the left and Ryan Turner's turn and shot was well held by Hill right on half time.
Bideford were dominant in the second half without being able to create too much, mainly due to Supermarine's defensive game plan that proved to be very effective. Perhaps the best chance The Robins did fashion came just a minute into the half as Craig Duff looked to be in on goal but the ball got away from him and Hill saved well from Kevin Squire's follow up. Craig Allan sliced over from 20 yards just after the hour and Dan Western volleyed over from the edge of the area following a corner. Tucker came mightily close to an equaliser on 74 minutes as he tricked his way into the box on the left and curled a shot just over with the outside of his foot. Western saw another attempt from distance saved in the final ten minutes and at the other end Parsons' free kick had to be tipped over by Steve Oliver.
To cap off a bad day for Bideford Matt Bye saw red in injury time for a stamp on Ryan Campbell.
