Ton welcome City

Today at the WDS Legal Service’s Stadium we welcomed Bristol City for their annual community match.
The profits for the day are to be split between Bristol City’s community trust and Bitton AFC the hosts.
The attendance for the game whitenessed Bitton’s biggest ever crowd reaching a total of 1758 spectators.
The Ton lost the game 4-0 but can only take positives from the day. We would like to thank everyone who watched today’s game, everyone who has supported today’s event via sponsorship , both sets of players, the voulunteers and everyone associated with Bristol City and Bristol City community trust.
Bitton gaffer Dan Langdon has this to say “ I would personally like to thank everyone who has supported today and everyone who has given up endless hours of voluntary work to make today a success. I am extremely proud of my players who I believe represented the club extremely well and never gave up. Bristol City are a fantastic club and their manager Lee Johnson is an incredible bloke who was very professional and approachable from the minute he arrived to the minute he left. I believe we learned a lot from today and can take what we learned on to the training ground Tuesday and it will only make us a better team in the long run. Once again thank you to everyone who made today possible especially our chairman and commercial director.”

Don’t forget we are next in action on Thursday evening as we welcome southern league season side Bristol Manor Farm to the Ton - kick off 19:30.
