09/23/17 Match Report vs. South Jersey RFC

By Sean Lonsinger

Another Disappointing Loss for Brandywine

In sweltering weather, Brandywine fell behind early in this match and South Jersey fought hard to keep them out of the match. Down 17-5 at the half, BRFC kept battling but South Jersey pulled to a 29-5 lead before Brandywine pushed in for a second try.

This was a tough, physical game with some poor calls by the referee on both sides. Brandywine has a lot of talent and the ability to win these types of matches but success hasn't yet come to fruition. The team has to keep their heads up, get everyone out to practices, and keep battling forward. "Every champion was once a contender that refused to give up."

Join us next Saturday (9/30/17) at 1:00 pm for an away match at Old Gaelic RFC!
