Both matches ended in a draw on Saturday for CUP FC, as the 1st team were held at home and the Reserves finished goalless away.
The 1sts hosted Ely City Reserves, looking to maintain the winning run and for revenge after a 5 - 2 defeat in the reverse fixture. The visitors went 1 up, before Knight-Percival equalised, making it 1 - 1 at half time. CUP couldn't make the breakthrough in the second half, despite dominating.
The Reserves travelled to Sawston Rovers, aiming to make up for an agonising 3 - 2 defeat in the reverse two weeks previously. CUP had the clearer cut chances, with the opposing keeper making some good saves, but neither team were able to find the back of the net.
The 1sts have two more games to play in 2018, hosting Brampton this coming Saturday (22nd) before being on the road at Eaton Socon on 29th December. The Reserves return to action in the new year.
