Passion and pride in wet and windy conditions

The whole seasons league hang in the balance for Camelot, needing a win with a bonus to secure the league championship,

The day was wet a windy which was the worse possible start for the day.

The team arrived early and brought an army of parents, family and friends.

The first half was one sided with Camelot having the entire half buried deep in Hertford half. However unfortunately the weather conditions and some poor handling meant that the team turned around at half time with only 1 try.

The second half was played into the wind and the longer the game went on the more the team played better, passion pride and determination did not describe the effort that was put on the park.

The forwards were fearsome with dominance in all set phases and throwing of bodies into attacking runs. The backs began to run and move with belief.

The second try came..., the third try came. 5 minutes of brutal all out attack was repelled by Hertford and with a final scrum to Hertford they kicked the ball out with an air of desperation.

The team have played with pride and passion all season and have had a inspired season. Now the nervous wait to see if other results will go our way and leave us rightly as champions.

We played the most games and could now be reliant on teams who haven't played, but get bonus points.
