Carniny redeemed themselves from a disappointing performance the previous week with probably their best performance this season. From the start they bossed the game with Rhys Dunlop opening the scoring. Carniny scored a second when a fine move between Mattias Beatty, Rhys Dunlop and James Andrews allowed the latter to finish well. The impressive Dunlop then added a third before half time. The second half continued in much the same way. Odhran Doherty at the back winning more than his fair share of the ball and Eli Redmond excellent in midfield with an extremely disciplined performance while being on the end of some tough tackles. Jayden Allan scored the pick of the Carniny goals with an excellent placed shot from outside the box before Mattias Beatty completed Carniny’s scoring when he broke free through the crusaders defence. Carniny players Zac McNeill, Kaan Avci and Jamie Stevenson completed the excellent performance of the backline along with Will Neill in nets who could do nothing to stop crusaders goal which would have graced any football pitch. Charlie Kelly also continued his fine form with another hardworking display. All in all a very pleasing performance.
