Injury time goal denies seniors share of the spoils
It was the home team that took the lead in this match as Gary McMeekin capitalised on a defensive error, rounding the keeper to slot home om 15 mins. Directly after scoring both teams had a man sent off after an altercation in the box. Five minutes later McMeekin curled a super shot high into the top left hand corner to double their lead.
In the second half Rangers used their wind to their advantage two minutes into the half to reduce the deficit and 15 minutes later brought the game back to 2-2. When it looked like the game was going to end in a draw Rangers were awarded a 94th minute free kick and after some confusion scored to claim all three points.
