After a long period of deliberation and discussion with the RFU I am delighted to announce that yesterday Chippenham RFC were selected to work in partnership with the RFU to deliver the installation of an AGP pitch at Allington Fields.
This is great news for the future of the club and the board will now be reviewing the existing strategy and how we can continue our journey and achieve our vision of being the ‘leading amateur rugby club in the South West’
For more information about AGP, do check the RFU link below;

I would particularly like to thank Ian Beswick, Phil Read and Bruce Finnamore (ably assisted by Helen Morse) for leading the negotiations with the RFU since the project was conceived in 2014. The project has been a great team effort which I know in years to come people will view this as being important to the development of our great club.
I will be back in contact with you once we have more news on the project plan and programme. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the project please do feel free to contact me at chairman@chippenhamrfc.co.uk.
