#ElHaddocko Cleethorpes Town v Grimsby Borough Semi Final Preview

Holders of the County Senior Trophy host Grimsby Borough on Wednesday evening at Bradley in a game being billed as #ElHaddocko as the area looks forward to the local derby.

It is the first meeting between the 2 sides for a few years as Cleethorpes Town have continued there climb of the football pyramid which has seen them leave step 6 and rise to step 4 in a short spell that also saw the hosts appear at Wembley last season. In that time Grimsby Borough were reprieved from relegation from Step 6. The reprieve has seen the side build again and the side missed out on promotion to Step 5 last season as they where beat in the play offs at home to Penistone Church.

So it is Step 4 against Step 6, which means nothing when the game kicks off at Bradley FDC as local pride is at stake in the #ElHaddocko at 7.45pm.

The players know each other but with local pride at stake it promises to be a game that will contain it all and a game that can not be missed as both sides aim to make the final
