Academy 1:1 Sessions 2017

GAP Connahs Quay Nomads Academy in partnership with CBC 1to1 Football Training (Chris Brooks U11 Academy Coach) will be continuing this succesful program with all coaches from the Nomads Academy and being ran by Chris Brooks.

The 1:1 programe will run from 16:15-17:00 at Deeside Leisure Centre and will be directly before Coerver Curriculum sessions starting at 17:00. This gives players opportunity for just over two quality hours of training if they wish to take it up.

Three pitches will run with a maximum of 5 players per pitch so only 15 spaces per week are available. (this maybe extended to further pitches if keen interest and Nomads Academy Coaches availability)

The cost for players is just £5 per player which must be paid in cash to Chris Brooks on arrival.

The 2017 curriculum of topics over the campaign include:

January/February-shooting/finishing

March-defending(tackling/pressing/heading 1v1 2v1 2v2)

April- combination play/passing/free kicks

After a hugely successful first six months of the program we wanted to boost this addition again for the academy.

This is non mandatory but it is a great opportunity for players to gain more individual focused training by different Nomads Academy Coaches in a 45 minute period which leads then into team Coerver Training.

Again another progression for the academy and the key word is opportunity for those players who wish to take advantage and utilise for their own individual development.

Five players in particular who have committed to this extra program have seen huge gains in their personal development and within the academy highlighting the quality of this 1:1 program.
