After our last two games that we were totally in control of but ended up drawing, we needed to take our chances.
We started very well and after only a minte we created our first golden opportunity when Hayden Hughes played in Aaron Davies who raced clear and was one on one with the Druids keeper and should have scored but the keeper saved with his legs and the ball went out for a corner, Jim Freel took the corner and it was Aaron Davies who headed at the back post and his effort hit the bar and was cleared.
Within 5 minutes we had won another two corners with the second corner resulting in Jobe Urquhart shot over the bar.
Our football was great in the opening stages and had Druids on the back foot for the first ten minutes but as with our other games we conceeded a goal after being in control after we lost the ball on our left and a ball behind our defence was played square and the Druids winger arrived unmarked at the back post to side foot home. We needed to get back on level terms and again we had chance after chance but we couldn't take our chances with Aaron Davies shooting wide and Hayden Hughes shooting at the keeper.
Eventually we got our deserved equaliser after good play by Hayden Hughes to find Aron Williams on the right edge of the box, his cross found Jim Freel at the back post who controlled well and fired the ball into the net at the keepers near post. Nomads 1 - 1 Druids
We continued to play some great football and we looked dangerous every time we went forward and it was Aron Williams who set up Hayden Hughes just outside the box and his shot was well saved. Aaron Davies ran at the defence left side of the box but again his shot was dragged wide with Sam Jones just missing it as he ran in at the back post.
Richard Hughes overlapped Jim Freel on the left and delivered a great ball in but Aaron Davies headed wide under good pressure from the defender.
We got another goal on 33 minutes after a great move. It started down the right and then we checked back and played the ball inside into Abe Dobson who switched the ball well to Richard hughes who got himself involved in the attack, Richard Hughes drove inside into the space and let fly a brilliant shot that flew into the top right corner of the net. Just before half time we could have stretched our lead after a great run by Hayden Hughes and he chipped the keeper only to see his great effort cleared off the line by the defender.

We needed to keep playing to our strengths and keep Druids under pressure to win this game and we again started bright with Aaron Davies and Aron Williams linking up well with Aron Williams shooting just wide. Ten minutes in Aaron Davies went past the Druids left back and fired a great low ball across the six yard box and it was Sam Jones who was unmarked just yards out with an open goal but took his eye off the ball and somehow missed his kick and the ball went wide.
Aaron Davies was a constant threat but he didn't have his shooting boot on today as yet another shot was dragged wide.
Yet again after having our opponents under pressure we conceed a goal. Aron Williams conceeded a needless free kick on the edge of our area and the free kick was saved well by Callum Glover but the rebound was forced in to level the scores Nomads 2 - 2 Druids
An injury to striker Sam jones meant Sam Woodward had to play up front with 20 minutes left and immediately had an effort saved when it looked like Sam should have scored as he was played in behind the defence. Aron Williams went past the Druids left back down our right and delivered a great ball across but Aaron Davies just missed the ball with a flying diving header.
We had to wait until the 70th minute to get our noses in front again when another good run and cross by Aaron Davies found Sam Woodward in a crowded box and Sam shifted the ball to the right and fired a great shot into the right corner of the net. Nomads 3 - 2 Druids
