Cowling going in to this game with just twelve players against the top of the league was never gonna be easy but both teams played this game in a great spirit and it was only in the second half illingworth finished there passes and really took the result.
Stand out players for cowling was captain Craig Nicholson,Ali Feather and Nicky Smith who really kept cowling in the fight,the game started very slow in heavy conditions and the quins with the ball completed sets but once illingworth got in strike range they just couldn't finish that final pass but they did show the class if they can complete.
Half time score 24-0 to the Halifax side and in the second half good work from Simon Parker,Andrew Skinner and Adam eteson helped cowling but illingworth showed there class and took the game but both team enjoyed the game playing it in the true spirit of the game.
