Harlequins puts in huge effort against Meltham

This was never gonna be a easy game for cowling but with the team now settling down and the same faces playing week in week out the teams effort is going through the roof and does not reflect in the score.
Meltham came out full of confidence and could only score in the corners with cowling middle holding very strong and cowling with the ball really being a threat to the all blacks line going close with Daz Greenwood plus Man of the match Joe Bartle and Craig Nicholson but as in the last couple of season cowling just cant get that luck it took the quins 20 mins to wake up and release they could challenge the all blacks all over the field.
The next try for the all black was a kick and chase in the corner and with that they went in at the break 24 -0 up but in the second half cowling got great field position and slotted over two drop goals from ever present Ali feather to melthams dislike but the quins came again with great work from Josh Jolley and Nicky Smith helping the quins in attack and defence.
now the quins have a massive eye on this weeks away fixture to Greetland A knowing if they can just click that final piece of the jig saw they will pull in wins.
