Gold medal inspires new members

Crawley Hockey Club are hoping to welcome new players to the club in the coming season thanks to the GB ladies winning the Gold medal out in Rio. This success has pushed hockey into the national focus and spotlight which is leading to new inquiries into players either getting back into hockey or picking up a stick for the first time.
This is an exciting time for hockey and to be involved in hockey with the rules and game being made faster it has made for better viewing at all levels and helped to increase participation in the sport.
Our teams are striving to build on their achievements over the past couple of season with promotions for our Mens 1's, Mens 3's and Ladies 1's all within the last two seasons. As the club looks to continue its good work not only in adult hockey but also in what is turning into being a very useful platform for youngsters from a very young age to build into adult hockey. With numbers being boosted in our Mens ladies and youth sections it looks to be an exciting time for all involved in the club. We would like to take this opportunity to invite any others who are interested in playing hockey even if its for the first time to get in contact with us via the website or social media so we can keep you informed of plans for the upcoming season.
