Post-Match Reaction With Nick Pearce

By James Brown

First Team head coach Nick Pearce gives his thoughts following our 2-0 Cheshire Ladies Cup semi-final win at Tranmere Rovers

"I'm absolutely delighted with the team's performance yesterday especially their quality in and out of possession. We looked confident on the ball and showed great resilience and organisation without it."

"The players showed superior mental strength in overcoming a fellow FA Women's Premier League side who are also struggling in the league this season. I really feel this win can be the turning point to help us build confidence and momentum for the end of season relegation battle."

"We know we are good enough to compete in this league and will now look forward to our next challenge against current leaders Guiseley Vixens on Sunday."

"On our day we can compete with anybody and we just need to continue to believe in ourselves and each other."
