North Shields fight back to overturn a half time lead from Darlington

Darlington headed to North Shields HQ for a warm afternoon kick - Darlington got off to a great start after a structured warm and a 'feel-good' factor, the squad then took this into the game with heavy pressure on North Shields forcing mistakes. However a 4 try bonus point including a brace from Andy Robinson at 12 was not enough to gain the winning points, a second half lapse due to some tired bodies and some simple mistakes allowed North Shields to capitalise on a number of occasions to build a comfortable lead and eventually go on and win.

Darlington will take many positives from the match however will be disappointed to not have taken the win - training resumes to once per week every Thursday at 7pm where the squad will regather to prepare for another trip to Shields - this time to the South.
