Match Preview : Buckley v Denbigh Town JD Welsh Cup Round 2

Round 2 of the Welsh Cup this Saturday !

An important game for the club as we look to progress although it is going to tough. Buckley have had a great start to their league campaign and currently lie at 6th whilst things have not gone completely to plan for the new Denbigh side as we find ourselves in the bottom three.

This is the Cup though and who knows what will happen on the day. We are definitely capable of winning but we need to be at our best.

Buckley saw off Brymbo in the last round 3 -1 whilst Denbigh were victorious in the 9-3 goal fest against Holyhead Town.

We spoke to joint manager Matty Jones who said " This is another huge game for us against a side who we know will be both up for it and very hard to beat. We will need to be at our best to get through. We had a positive performance Saturday against Airbus despite the defeat and are looking to build on that this weekend. There are no new injury worries and we look to welcome Scott McHarrie back after suspension. "
