Y Clwb Pêl-Droed - HGA Club Of The Year

Denbigh Town are very pleased to have been recognized in the inaugural Y Clwb Pêl-Droed awards.

Y Clwb Pêl-Droed are a website / media blog who report on all matters involving the domestic football game throughout the principality of Wales and can be followed on Facebook and Twitter for regular updates.

They explained that the season has been one of numerous talking points with managerial appointments, sackings, transfers, key games, promotions, relegations, elation and heartbreak.

The Y Clwb Pêl-Droed Awards for the 2017/18 season recognise the work of those around the Welsh domestic football scene and in appointing Denbigh Town FC as the Huws Gray Alliance Club of the Season they had this to say :-

"Denbigh Town shocked many fans this season when they clinched second place in a star studded division including Caernarfon, Rhyl and Airbus. However, the side proved to be notoriously tough to beat, and despite a tough start including four consecutive losses, the club bounced back to prove their value for money by pushing title winners Caernarfon all the way for the title."
