U 13s Final game of the season

The sunshines for final game of the season

The sun came out for the final game of a good season for the U13s. In a season which has seen the boys combine with Broughton Park and develop as a new team it was great to play in a 'final'. The boys have played a lot of games over the season which has seen them find their positions, take part in contested scrums, the introduction of kicking and seen the physical side of the game move up a level. It has been a great season and the boys as individuals and as a team have really developed. A genuine team spirit has developed between the boys in the creation of the new team. The season has seen hard fought matches and there have been lots of memorable victories.

The match against Bolton proved one match too far. The boys showed tremendous spirit and determination through the game but were ultimately beaten, mainly by two large lads playing for Bolton. Not our day today

A real big thank you to Aidan and the coaches from Broughton Park for the time they have put in over the year. The collaboration has proved to be very successful and all the boys should be very proud with how they have played over the year.
