A Dulwich squad side failed to press home their half time lead and were deservedly beaten by Cray Valley PM who move on to the final against Met Police,

It all started so well as Dipo Akinyemi forced home keeper Jordan Carey into a fine early save and a goal bound shot from Omar Koroma struck Dumebi Dumaka. Therefore, it came as no surprise when Dumaka gave Dulwich a 17th minute lead.

A fine run from Dipo Akinyemi saw him slip the ball to Dumaka who fired across Carey into the net. Sanchez Ming forced a good save from Carey and Sulaiman Bah fired too high as Dulwich looked to press home their advantage.

The second goal arrived on the half hour as Dipo Akinyemi seized on a misplaced pass, advanced forward and struck a shot that Carey got a hand to but couldn't keep out.

Omar Koroma fired wide after a Dumaka flick on and a Dipo Akinyemi cross was headed just over his own bar by Ashley Sains.

Little had been seen of the home side as an attacking force but Phil Wilson was finally called into action in the 35th minute when he produced a fine save from the lively Danzel Gayle.

W8th half time approaching, Sulaiman Bah had an effort well saved.

Dulwich opened the second half brightly and Dumaka had an effort deflected wide in the 50th minute.However, Dulwich lost their grip on the match from this point onwards and never re-established any control.

Phil Wilson made a fine double save in the 53rd minute but other than that save the Dulwich defence was not put under any consistent pressure, although the home side were beginning to gain the upper hand.

Despite this, it still came as a surprise when they reduced the arrears in the 73rd minute. Taylor McDonagh was allowed to stroll forward unchallenged to drive the ball past Wilson.

The home side pushed on and they had an appeal for a penalty turned down before they levelled with 5 minutes remaining as Ben Francis was given space to fire home. It then took another save from Wilson to prevent the home side taking the lead.

It took only 3 minutes of extra time for the home side to go in front when Aaron Rhule was allowed time and space to beat Wilson. In fact, it almost got worse for Dulwich but Gayle fired just wide.

Dulwich pushed forward but were easily held at bay and, despite lots of crosses and monopolising possession, they rarely looked like getting an equaliser.

With time running out, a corner was flicked on by Harly Wise but was cleared off the line with the keeper beaten. Dipo Akinyemi had an effort blocked and Carey made a good stop from Quade Taylor when he seemed certain to score. However, it was all too little too late and the home side deservedly booked their place in the final.
