There were a number of new names for The Hamlet at Walton Casuals on Saturday

By Mishi Morath

So who were the new faces? Richard Caldecourt decided to find out who the 'Rose Recruits' were, by speaking to First Team boss Gavin.

The win at Walton Casuals at the weekend saw the introduction of more new players in Gavin Rose's attempts to rebuild his injury plagued squad with Louis Hollingsworth and Yacine Gnahore becoming the latest additions.

Gnahore, formerly of Cambridge United, is a midfielder.

Whilst Hollingsworth has joined following a spells at Staines Town, Chipstead, Merstham and Horsham.

Rose also confirmed that Daniel Carr, formerly of Reading and Eastbourne Borough, has joined the side permanently.

Meanwhile, the injury list grows ever longer with the Hamlet boss noting that Jide Ogunbote absence has been enforced by the recurrence of his previous injury, with Gavin exclusively telling Hamlet Pitchero:

"Jide felt his old injury and awaits results of a scan. Fingers crossed he is ok to continue playing, as he is good player and an even better lad."
