We are very excited to tell you about a large grant that has been awarded to Egham Cricket Club by The London Marathon Charitable Trust

Bob Amon and Peter Bax have been working hard to secure some funding to do some much needed repair and alterations in the clubhouse, and their hard work has paid off with a grant of £43,000 being awarded.
This will be used to renovate the inside of the club house as well as to build a disabled toilet on site, to help us with our growing community partnership, that will see greater use of the club.

Commenting to the LMCT:
Bob Amon, former Chairman and Life Member of Egham Cricket Club, said:

"Egham Cricket Club is proud and honoured to receive the grant from The London Marathon Charitable Trust. We are now able to expand our partnership with the community, develop our relationship with the disabled girls, boys and adults and grow sporting activity in Egham and Runnymede. We thank most sincerely The London Marathon Charitable Trust for awarding Egham Cricket Club the grant."

This is a very exciting time and there is still a lot of work involved to move this on, but when you next see Bob and Peter, may i ask if you can thank them for all the hard work they have put into this, to enable a better future for you all at this great club.
