Bold Blues beat Buxton

Frickley gave their best team display of the season to see off Buxton in PSF4.

Rich Patterson got his & Frickleys first (the Tweetmeister proving to be a Twitmeister as he tweeted it to Jason Yates). The other main action of the first half was a deliberate head butt on Nicky Darker which earned the Buxton player a straight red.....in a friendly. I'll reserve my thoughts on the perpetrator.

Jacob Hazel made it 2 nil following an air shot by the keeper but it still needed some scoring & Haze obliged adroitly. Hardy made it 2-1 shortly after, thus spoiling keeper John Stancliffes clean sheet (but not his clean shirt as he had little else to do!).

The move of the game led to Big Gav making it 3-1, the move was worthy of the admission fee on its own. Gav made it 4-1 & the referee decided that Buxton had suffered enough & called it a day.
