The Development Team just seem to get better and better! This was another good performance against Evo Stik outfit and local rivals Tadcaster Albion and with a chance created count of about 16 to 4 in our favour the only slight disappointment was that the boys didn't win by a bigger margin. To their credit Tadcaster dug in hard to try and manufacture something out of the game but Town were just too dominant in too many positions . If variety is the spice of life then the Garforth boys must feeling HOT TONIGHT for their play incorporated such a varied approach the opposition were always second guessing as to what Garforth were going to do - Corners hit to the near post, long corners, short corners, corners hit to the far post. Passes played with depth, width, length . Passes driven, lofted, curled. Short shots, long shots, low shots, high shots. Fifty fifties. Dribbles, feints, dummies, nutmegs. Sets. One twos. Round the corner passes. The list goes on ! Great to watch - effective. Bring on next season!
