Albion Sports stunned Garforth with a goal inside the first fifteen seconds of the game to set up a convincing win.
Toby Wells made a rare error when he fumbled a cut-back by Alhassane Keita, leaving Lamin Janneh to tap in from five yards.
Things got worse for the Miners after thirteen minutes when last weeks' hat-trick hero Sean Hunter went to ground in agony after the most innocuous of incidents.
Albion keeper Brad Emerson hit a poor clearance straight at the foot of the Garforth striker, who immediately fell to the floor in pain, eventually being assisted from the field by Paul Cavell.
Hunters' replacement Harry Freedman almost pulled his side level within moments of entering the field after a mix up at the back.
Joe Colley pounced on a poor defensive touch and his improvised flick-on presented Freedman with a half chance, which bobbled inches wide.
A couple of minutes later Mark Simpson produced a clever touch to beat his opponent to a through ball, but his outstretched leg could only prod the ball at the keeper.
Luke Aldrich ought to have put his side two nil up midway through the half when he found himself completely unmarked in the box and could only plant a header straight at Wells..
Eddie Church then had an even better chance, but hooked his shot wide from inside the box
Dan Williams had one more chance for Garforth, easing his marker out of the way, before striking a ball that Emerson gathered well.
The home side started the second period better and looked to hit Garforth with pace and power whenever they got the ball.
Sam Denton rose well to connect with a free-kick, but his header was wide of the mark.
They then produced the moment of the match, a flowing move (that even had Garforth supporters applauding) started deep inside their half, had a few fancy flicks and ended with left-back Kesi Omolokun firing a volley from the edge of the box that Wells tipped onto the bar.
The second goal wasn't far behind. Alhassan Keita burst clear onto the end of a long ball and dinked a finish over the advancing Wells.
Garforth were short on chances, but could have found themselves back in the game when Emerson fumbled a simple cross under pressure from Freedman. The ball squirmed just behind Simpson, who was ready to bundle it into an unguarded net.
Helmo Silva replaced Dan Williams and soon after Aiden Kearsley made an appearance in place of Mick Jones as Rob Hunter threw his last roll of the dice.
The contest was over on seventy four minutes.
A clever free-kick gave Lamin the chance to put in a looping cross from the left and it was far too easy for Ketia as he tapped in Albions' third.
Garforth kept trying to the end, but it was an under-par performance against an athletic team that had been given a shot in the arm straight from the kick-off.
Garforth are next in action on Saturday 13th April against relegation threatened Goole AFC.
It's our last Saturday home game of the season, so get down and show some great support for the Miners!
