Report

Prim's on the road.

Tuesday 24th January 2017.

Please accept my apology for the lack of reports, with the managers and team under pressure to gain points in order to progress away from the foot of the table I thought it of little help to be constantly reminding everyone. However what we witnessed at Stapenhill was to all who watched the reward to all the hard work being done by both managers and players.

Prim's beat Stapenhill in spectacular fashion by 6-0 !
Of note Prim's young keeper Adam Binks kept a clean sheet making several finger tip saves at crucial times in the game when the score line was 1-0 and 2-0 something not seem since the start of the season.
Prim's took the lead in the 23rd minute Joe Turner beating Ben Gough in the Stapenhill goal. Toby Howard made it 2-0 in the 33rd minute with Jack Tyson rounding off the first half display with a goal in the 44th minute.

HT Stapenhill 0-3 Prim's.

Jack Tyson added his second and Prim's fourth goal early in the second half.
Stapenhill never recovered from the first half however they still created several chances throughout the match notably one effort which cannoned off the Prim's goal post and towards the end of the match an easy open goal chance which Tom Ellerton shot wide of the mark. Steve Hart Stapenhill's and the leagues leading goal scorer failed to break down the combination of Lee Sutton and Ben Rushby at the heart of the Prim's defence. Prim's captain Lee Sutton stepped up adding Prim's fifth goal from the penalty spot in the 58th minute sending keeper Gough the wrong way.
Prim's introduced Matt Tyson, Sam Hawkins and Jack Gorbet from the bench to great effect their fresh legs pushing Prim's forward in the final minutes and allowing Sam Groves to added his goal and Prim's 6th in the 80th minute to complete an incredible result, one which will linger in the memory for some time.

FT Stapenhill 0-6 Prim's.
