Speaking ahead of the match Manager Adam Stevens "I can't wait to get started. We've brought in some experienced players, some young players and some players who are ready to establish themselves at our level." he continued "Pre-season has been really good. Finishing with back to back wins and two cleansheets is great, but the real work starts on Saturday"
With The Gingerbreads ending last season in 8th placed, Stevens is hoping to do better this time round "My target is always to do better. It's not going to be easy though as all the other sides will be wanting to do exactly the same. The support we received last season was fantastic. I have no doubt it will be no different this season, hopefully we'll see more faces home and away"
This week Stevens added Jack McMenemy on loan from Lincoln City. The 18 year old is a striker and was on the bench for Lincoln's visit to Arsenal in the FA Cup last season.
Of the 25 man squad, Michael Hollingsworth is the only injury doubt as he limped off at Loughborough Dynamo during pre-season.
Saturday's opponents finished last season in 18th position, thanks to the appointment of Tommy Lawson in February. Lawson has made a number of signings throughout the summer.
