To Whitby!

By Simon Hayes

With The Gingerbreads having an unexpected Boxing Day off, it's off to Whitby on Saturday.

Gingerbreads Manager Adam Stevens was dissapointed with not playing on Boxing Day "It's always disappointing to have the Boxing Day match called off. It's a highlight for any football fan. We've also been sensible on Christmas Day, but sounds like the lads enjoyed their day off"

Whitby lost 2-0 on Boxing Day at home to Farsley, former Gingerbread Dan Cockerline scoring the second.

Their last league win was at the end of September, but they have drawn 6 matches since then.

For supporters unable to make the trip there will be updates across our social media account and you'll be able to listen to full match coverage thanks to Whitby Town Radio
