Guilsfield came away with a point from a tough encounter versus the Wellmen, who are fighting their way out of the bottom three of the league.
Guilsfield had a comfortable first half and were rewarded with a half time lead through Sam Litchfield on the stroke of half time. Sam reacting first from a corner to head home.
Barely a minute had gone in the second period when Steve Blenkinsop chased down a pass back to the keeper and his clearance rebounded off the striker in to the empty net to give us a two goal advantage.
However, we gave the home side a foothold into the game with a penalty awarded for a push in the area. The equaliser came after the Guilsfield rearguard paused for what looked like an obvious offside but the flag wasn't raised and Shaun Tuck scored the equaliser.
A point away from home in the end, but it could have been three. This extends our unbeaten run to f games.
