Hadley Wood comeback to take draw

Hadley Wood came from a 3-1 deficit with 20 minutes remaining to get a 3-3 draw at home to Codicote.

Hadley Wood took the lead in the first half with Amon Walton Owen scored with a superb shot from 30 yards into the top corner of the Codicote goal.

In the second half Codicote came out strong scoring three goals in 10 minutes to seemingly take the game away from Hadley Wood with defensive lapses coming throughout the Hadley Wood defence.

However with 20 minutes remaining Hadley Wood pulled a goal back when Brandon Dujon's deflected shot flew underneath the Codicote goalkeeper.

With eight minutes left on the clock Hadley Wood drew level after a through ball from substitute Alex Hadjithemistou cut through the Codicote defence putting Andreas Kyprianou one on one with the Codicote goalkeeper. Kyprianou rounded the keeper and slotted into an empty net from a tight angle to rescue a draw.
