9 Run defeat.
It what turned out to be the final game of cricket week Hartfield fell to a nine run defeat. Withyham who kindly stepped in at the 11th hour batted first and made a competitive total of 150-4 from 20 overs. Hartfield came close with Kevin Twort scoring 41 no. However top scorer in the Hartfield innings were extras contributing 44 runs. The run chase was not helped by 3 run outs.
Unfortunately the next day heavy rain prevented any play in the wine trades game.
