Good Performances In The Sunshine

1st fixture played with Goal Keepers

Despite the sunshine, the pitches @ Hawarden were deemed unplayable so I am glad we had booked the 3g pitches in advance of today.

I think Deeside Phoenix had a shock today playing in U8 size goals (as they normally put a man in front of a 4 a side pop up goal) and our strength of squad was evident with some decent individual performances from the lads...which included a number of excellent strikes which was nice to see.

Halkyn are struggling for numbers and I think it showed as we scored a number of goals against them - again some were great strikes.

We scored over 50 goals today with less than 5 conceded so we must happy with that.

Well done to Lewis & OJ for winning MOM awards.

Great strikes (clean as a whistle) from Jacob & Henri gained them both a trophy.

The sweets went to Owen for his individual goal v Halkyn, to Cody for his great individual goal & hat trick and Benjamin for listening & trying hard.
