TEAM NEWS: Hertford v Shelford

Hi all,

Matthews starts in the front row this week, with Joyce and Hewitt. Kinsley and Newberry make up the second row, with Elston, MacDougall joined by Meller in the up the back row, who gets a deserved start. Corcoran still has an ear infection, so is rested again this week.

Streets has a week off after playing a lot of rugby and Young comes in for his first start after impressing in the 2nd XV every week. Hughes, Archer and Mitchell make up the bench.

Last week was a tough game and the lads acquitted themselves well. We had a few problems in our set piece and that's down to myself and the lads to put right. The game could have gone either way and the spirit and determination was there in abundance. I would like to thank all our supporters who made the trip to Wimbledon, it was much appreciated.

We are looking forward to Shelford this week and are taking nothing for granted. One one thing we have learned is that anyone can beat anyone on their day in this league.
