Ladies 3s concede 5 heading into Christmas with a tough top of the table clash

The ladies 3s welcomed Framlingham 1s on Saturday for their last game before the Christmas break. A tough opposition they took hold of the game immediately and Ipswich struggled to get hold of the ball for long enough to move it forward. Relentless battle from those in defence saw the game go into half time at 0-0 despite the Framlingham pressure. This battle continued after the break but unfortunately due to unavoidable team changes which rocked the dynamic defence the Framlingham goals began to rack up. Tireless running from the forwards to create leads unfortunately didn’t come to fruition other than one venture into the opposition’s D where the Fram GK was out quickly to quash any hopes of an Ipswich goal.

The unfortunate result did not detract from the battle and determination from the team who gave it their all the whole game but were sadly punished by a stronger and faster team unit in Framlingham
