After another excellent season in, the 2nd XV (People’s first team) just missed out on the league play offs but consoled themselves with a Cup Victory last time out and are set to attack the Surrey Championship once again, fuelled by Paddy's Lasagna and the prospect of further post match refreshment.

For the upcoming season, the long serving, mercurial and diplomatic 2nd XV captain Will Carter steps up to a Club Captaincy role alongside James Shaw. In his place, Charlie Paterson, in his third year at the club, brings his unique mix of Penrith charm, conditioning and post-match exuberance to take on the role.

James Callender, due to take over as vice-captain moves upstairs to as an interim Team Manager/Administrative role as he recovers from injury giving him the opportunity to watch someone else throw the line outs not straight.
