Boxing Day - New Signing & Team News

This afternoon Julian McCalmon and his side travel to Bedfordshire to play Kempston Rovers in a league match and they will have new signing Marvin Martin (pictured) in or ranks. Marvelous Marvin Martin has transferred into us from Banbury United where he has made over 150 appearances for the club. Some of you here at Yarnton Road may remember Marvin as he has played for us way back when Paul Lee was our manager, Marvin came on loan from Oxford United where he was a scholar and played around 14 games for us.

So with our new signing in the squad we travel with determination to get the 3 points after having them so agonizingly snatched from us at home to Didcot last Saturday. We played Kempston earlier in the season and they left Kidlington with all 3 points, Ady Fuller was in charge then and as we know much has changed on the playing front since then.

Team news is that everyone is available again including Tom Franklin and Jack Bernasconi who were abroad with their families last Saturday, with the notable exception of Lewis Gabbidon who is absent because of work commitments.
