Slimbridge Away On Saturday

By Simon Dickens

The Greens travel to eastern Gloucestershire in search of another 3 points, here's the team news

Kidlington's 4 - 1 win against Cinderford Town last Saturday means the team have now only lost once in their last 8 matches and look to have recaptured much of their early season form.

Against Cinderford Mark Janes played as a central striker and it paid dividends as he netted the first 2 goals of the afternoon, Kidlington's other goals came from Lance Williams and a converted penalty from Duran Martin.

With no match during last midweek Kidlington travel to Slimbridge rested and ready for this match, kick off 3:00pm. The Green's have a full squad to pick from so that should mean the omens are good and Manager Julian McCalmon will be looking for his team to add to their recent points tally..

Back in September Kidlington drew with Slimbridge 2 - 2 at Yarnton Road and on that day Anaclet Odhiambo and Lewis Coyle netted the home sides goals.

Team from - Warrell, E.Odhiambo, Whitehead, Franklin, Brown, Castle, Gabbidon, Coyle, Benjamin, Osborn-Ricketts, Janes, Browne, Martin, A.Odhiambo, Williams, Bell, Quainton, Organ.
