Haverhill's final home game finished with a flourish as they scored five for the second Saturday in a row and condemned Kirkley to a large defeat in their final match.
The hosts lead on 36 minutes, a backpass by Roberts not making it to goalkeeper Hills; Wilkinson saw his shot come off Hills' legs but the rebound came back to him and he walked to ball in to the net. Two spectacular goals from Abbott after the break effectively sealed the game, his first coming in the 58th minute when he bided his time before rifling in a 25 yard shot that came off the stanchion of the top left corner and bounced just over the line before nestling itself in the goal, Hills being left as a casual observer.
The second arrived on 67 minutes, Abbott's 25 yard free kick on the left corner of the area curling into the top right corner, Hills again just left watching. Hunt netted Haverhill's fourth goal in the 74th minute, Abbott's 25 yard strike when punched away by Hills when he should have caught it and Hunt put the rebound wide of him.
Wilkinson's second completed the scoring in the 79th minute, Hunt's diagonal free kick finding Cogger, his square ball finding Wilkinson who calmly stroked the ball wide of Hills and in to the far bottom right corner.
To compound Kirkley's misery Woodcock was sent off for dangerous play in the 81st minute following a poor challenge on Abbott.
