New Players Welcome
The Under 12s falls under our junior academy section and the team is ran by our club president Dave Dytham. In this age group There are two training sessions available each week and there is ample opportunity to take part in tournaments. Players will also get the opportunity to participate in full pitch Badgers matches.
The club have had great success in our long history of bringing juniors through into the men’s league teams. This has allowed the club to coach players from their very first "push of a ball". It has also highlighted the club to local schools. Through this work Leicester Westleigh Hockey Club have grown both clubs with the aim so they can participate in junior matches and tournaments.
The club have experienced coaches who all started off in school or junior club hockey and know how to deliver the core skills whilst having fun. All Leicester Westleigh Hockey Club coaches hold England Hockey Coaching Qualifications. All coaches and regular volunteers are DBS checked.
