Vacancy for an Open Age Head Coach at Leigh RUFC

Leigh RUFC play at Level 6, the highest level of Rugby Union in the surrounding area and the successful candidate will be an integral member of the coaching team.

We are keen to develop an ambitious team with aspirations of strongly competing at the top of Level 6 rugby within the next 2-4 years. We run 4 senior male teams and have an established youth section that provides a clear pathway into senior rugby on a ‘conveyor belt’ system.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about rugby.

The successful candidate needs to be committed and to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills. They must be proactive in developing both the team and themselves and will be a pivotal member of the coaching team.

This post would be ideal for a current coach looking for a new challenge or someone who has a genuine interest in developing as a coach. Support in achieving the relevant qualifications will be provided.

This is a voluntary position although reasonable expenses will be supported.
