U12 Girls to Represent Wigan Athletic Community Trust!
Leigh Genesis U12 Girls will be swapping their pink kit for one night only when they wear the blue colours of Wigan Athletic next week.
The partnership between Genesis and Wigan Athletic Community Trust has been a huge success this season and this will be cemented further when the girls represent WACT in a high profile friendly against Bolton Wanderers Community Trust.
The game kicks off 6pm on Thursday 9th March at the LSV training ground.
Rob Atherton Genesis Secretary commented " The girls are really looking forward to this game as it’s a big change from the scheduled league programme and will have a little razzmatazz with it."
Stephanie Greensill from WACT also commented "It will be great to have the U12 girls from Leigh Genesis represent Wigan Athletic Community Trust in a North West Regional League fixture and I know that the girls will do Wigan Athletic Community Trust proud against the U11 Bolton Wanderers development team and I am looking forward to seeing them play.”
