2nd INFORMATION SHEET w/c MONDAY, 24th SEPTEMBER , 2018
Many Thanks......to those who were able to respond at very short notice and be at St Anne’s School this morning. In connection with the topic the children are following concerning Leyland and the Leyland Festival, we may be loaning a display of relevant photos for an Open Evening which is being arranged.

Kit: YELLOW sash on LEFT shoulder, shoes & bellpads Meet: FOR 11 am at the Guild Ale House, Lancaster Road, PR1 1DD (this is a ‘pop up’ boozer in what was a shop, almost directly opposite the entrance to the Town Hall. Any gear not required during this walking tour can be left here. Parking: The Bus Station car park is convenient: walk over the bridge, down through the Guild Hall to Lancaster Road, turn right and it’s less than 100 yards on the right. The Market car park is also quite close. Maps available. Details: First dance at the Guild Ale House. Other spots likely to include the New Market Hall, the ‘Black Horse’ (corner of Orchard Street/Friargate) the Miller Arcade and outside the Parish Church (aka The Minster). Arrangements for lunch will be made on the day. Envisaged finishing time: no later than 2:45 pm

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING at 7:45 pm
Surplus copies of various photos will be available, as will T-shirts which have long been languishing in a drawer and need to be put to use. The Scrapbooks will be put out for you to peruse at leisure.

Tuesday, 13th November – Parkinson’s Society meeting, St Cuthbert’s Church, Lytham Road, Fulwood
Also Clayton-le-Woods Cubs would like us to do a Tuesday evening with them, probably in November. (The invitation comes from a contact made at Astley Park last November.)
Monday, 10th December – Garstang Victorian Fair
.......and if we’re going to meet up for a Christmas meal together, that needs to be fitted in as well.

1. Len has yet more photographs from the Whittaker household clearance, passed on to him by Nigel. In due course some of these will be finding their way into the Scrapbooks
