Onwards And Upwards

INFORMATION SHEET w/c MONDAY, 22nd OCTOBER , 2018

Many Thanks......to those who were able to help at St Anne’s School on 1st & 12thOctober. Your efforts were very much appreciated.
Likewise thanks to the 2 + 7 who turned out on 6th October for a tour of Preston town centre and the 5 + 7 who were at Knowle Green on 11th October. Another lively evening with our fans of the ADA – and before we departed they were already talking about inviting us again next year! (So much for the views of the previous organiser, who deemed us an unnecessary item in their annual programme, and who has already moved on to cause chaos elsewhere.)

Message of Thanks from the ADA:
“Please thank all the Morris Men and Ladies who came to our meeting.......for a wonderful evening. Our members and ourselves thoroughly enjoyed joining in with the dances, and for the welcome breaks for some music and singing. Many thanks, Pam”
.....and from Royal Preston MD:
“Just a brief email to thank everyone from Leyland Morris for joining us on our Walking Tour of Preston. We do hope that everybody enjoyed the day and felt it worthwhile. We were extremely fortunate with the weather as, for the week beforehand the forecast was very poor and the exact opposite happened – fine day, blue skies from noon onwards.
As discussed with a number of people we intend to forward an invitation for one of our next season’s local evening dance-outs. Kind regards, Rob (Alty)”
